Histology BMS x3 - Permanent Opportunities Brand New, State-of-the-Art Private Laboratory Oxfordshire Region Start Date: September 2025 Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 Excellent Benefits About the Opportunity We are seeking three experienced and motivated Specialist Biomedical Scientists (Band 6, HCPC-registered) in Histology, each of whom will take on a key leadership responsibility in one of the following areas: Quality Assurance Customer Services Training & Development In addition to routine histology and immunohistochemistry, team members will be cross-trained across all three domains to ensure seamless cover and collaboration. What Makes This Different? As a new UK based greenfield start-up, there will be no clinical samples in the initial phase. Instead, you will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and launch of a next-generation laboratory equipped with cutting-edge digital and AI technologies. Key responsibilities will include: Reviewing and developing laboratory documentation Authoring SOPs and procedural guides Instrument and workflow validation and verification Contributing to the integration of digital pathology and AI applications Supporting the establishment of a robust quality management system In addition, successful candidates will participate in structured training abroad - 3-day monthly visits to a leading European partner site, with all travel and accommodation expenses covered.
