About the Role
We are looking for a reliable Dispatch Operative with Counterbalance Forklift experience to join a busy metal fabrication and distribution environment. Working in both the warehouse and yard, you'll play a key role in the movement of goods, ensuring products are safely loaded, unloaded, and prepared for dispatch.
This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced setting, offering long-term security and excellent earning potential through daily and weekend overtime.

Key Responsibilities
* Operate Counterbalance Forklift trucks to load and unload metal products.
* Handle goods in and goods out, including booking in deliveries and preparing dispatch paperwork.
* Work in the yard and warehouse/factory, ensuring stock is stored safely and organised efficiently.
* Assist with sorting and preparing orders for collections and deliveries.
* Follow health & safety guidelines at all times to ensure safe handling of materials.
* Support wider warehouse and yard duties as required.

Requirements
* Previous Forklift Counterbalance experience is essential (in a warehouse or yard setting).
* Valid Counterbalance licence (expired tickets can be refreshed).
* Experience handling metal products or heavy goods preferred.
* Ability to work to deadlines in a busy environment.
* Good team player with a proactive approach.
* Flexible with overtime availability.
