My client is an award winning regional contractor looking to recruit a Company Accountant/Finance Manager to join their business on a full time permanent basis. Ideally you will have worked for a construction company previously although this is not essential. This role would suit a proactive, dynamic person with lots of drive and vision.
Duties and responsibilities include:
Preparation of Monthly/Quarterly Management Accounts
o Accruals/Prepayments
o Fixed Assets
o Bank reconciliations
o Full reconciliations
Produce Cashflow Forecasts
Management of Audit by external accountant
Regular Bank monitoring/transfers etc
Subcontractor Payments/ checking insurances/order status
CIS/VAT knowledge for Construction Industry
CIS/VAT Submissions
Prepare and Issue P11Ds
CITB Levy submissions
Provide information for Office for National Statistics
Assist procurement of Performance Bonds/Section agreement
Prepare and administer Expenses
B&CE Pension Submissions
PAYE
Companies House Submissions
Calculate Rebates and claim
Oversee/Assist Purchase Ledger
Valuation application invoices etc
Miscellaneous Finance duties.
Required qualifications: CIMA or ACCA
Other duties
Basic ‘In-house’ IT to assist external IT company using remote access.
Assist other departments with cost information.
Assist front of house including phone calls/deliveries etc
Other miscellaneous duties.
