Parts Manager – Leicester
Salary: £37,000 OTE
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Parts Manager to join our team at Leicester. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills and a background in automotive parts management to take ownership of a fast-paced and rewarding department.
About the Role
As a Parts Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Parts Department, ensuring stock is managed efficiently, customers are supported effectively, and the dealership team has everything they need to deliver excellent service. You will be responsible for leading a small team, building strong supplier relationships, and maximising profitability through effective stock control and sales management.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the Parts Department, ensuring smooth daily operations.
* Supervise, motivate, and develop a team of Parts Advisors.
* Control stock levels, carrying out regular audits and monitoring usage.
* Build and maintain excellent relationships with suppliers, workshop teams, and retail customers.
* Ensure orders are processed quickly and accurately.
* Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities to improve profitability.
* Provide outstanding customer service to both internal and external customers.
* Maintain compliance with company standards and manufacturer guidelines.
About You
* Previous experience as a Parts Manager or Senior Parts Advisor within the motor trade.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
* Excellent organisational and stock management abilities.
* Commercial awareness with a focus on profitability and efficiency.
* Confident communicator with strong customer service skills.
* IT literate with experience using dealership management systems (DMS).
