We are recruiting on behalf of a client for an experienced Transport Coordinator with a strong background in HGV fleet operations.
The Role
You'll be responsible for planning and coordinating deliveries across a fleet of HGVs and vans, ensuring efficient, compliant, and on-time operations.
Key Duties
* Vehicle scheduling and route planning
* Monitoring vehicle tracking and delivery progress
* Managing drivers (timekeeping, debriefs, communication)
* Processing delivery notes and maintaining system records (Microsoft NAV)
* Coordinating fleet maintenance and defect resolution
* Preparing transport documentation in line with legal requirements
* Acting as the key contact for drivers, customers, and internal teams
* Supporting compliance with transport regulations
Requirements
* Experience coordinating HGV fleets (essential) xxuwjjq
* Strong planning and organisational skills
* Good knowledge of transport compliance
* Confident communicator with a proactive approach
