Residential Conveyancer / Solicitor - Bristol - 3+ Years Experience
Location: Bristol
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time (Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm, 35 hours per week)
Salary:£45,000 to £60,000
A well established and expanding law firm is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer or Solicitor with a minimum of 3 years experience to join its busy Bristol office. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a varied caseload, contribute to team development, and play a key role in the continued growth of a high-performing property department.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for managing a broad and complex caseload of residential conveyancing matters, including:
* Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
* Remortgages
* Lease extensions
* Transfers of Equity
* New build transactions
* SDLT requirements, including relevant reliefs and exemptions
* Unregistered property matters
* Advising on restrictions, cautions, and their removal
* Supervising, coaching, and developing junior team members
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with Estate Agents, Brokers, and clients
* Ensuring compliance and maintaining high professional standards
Candidate Requirements
* At least 3 years experience running a complex residential conveyancing caseload
* Strong technical knowledge across the full range of residential property matters
* A proven ability to win new business and nurture introducer relationships
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong organisational and time management abilities
* Confidence working independently and under pressure
* A proactive, self motivated approach
* The ability to mentor and inspire junior colleagues
* Strong IT proficiency, including legal case management systems
