Production Manager Overview: Own production planning, capacity and schedule adherence to protect OTD Lead the machine shop day-to-day across milling, turning and secondary operations Drive right-first-time output through strong process control and quality discipline Improve efficiency using lean, CI, and practical shopfloor problem-solving Manage and develop the team, setting standards, pace and accountability This Production Manager role is with a precision CNC machining business in Weymouth supplying high-quality machined components into specification-driven industries, operating to AS9100 aerospace standards. The Production Manager will take full ownership of production planning and delivery performance, while leading the shopfloor to run efficiently, safely and consistently. The Production Manager will work closely with engineering, quality and commercial teams to keep priorities clear, reduce disruption, and improve throughput, yield and on-time delivery.
