Position: Marketing Manager
Type: Full-time, Contract (potential to become Permanent)
Location: 401 & Kennedy – Scarborough (Hybrid: 1 day in office)
Hours: 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. or 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
Salary: $100,000 per year
Role Overview:
The Marketing Manager is responsible for leading marketing, communications, research, and campaign initiatives to achieve business objectives. This role involves developing strategies, managing brand messaging, driving member engagement, and collaborating with internal teams and external partners. The position reports directly to the CEO and may occasionally present to the Board.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing, Communications & Campaigns
1. Develop and implement marketing strategies, annual plans, and campaigns for CEO approval
2. Manage brand messaging consistently across all channels
3. Execute and lead campaigns, coordinating cross-functional support
4. Conduct member research, report findings, and recommend actions
5. Evaluate third-party solutions and prepare cost-benefit analyses
Data Governance, Reporting & Analytics
6. Maintain marketing materials in compliance with regulatory requirements
7. Develop KPIs and report campaign performance quarterly
8. Analyze marketing and communication results to optimize strategies
9. Report campaign progress, risks, and expenditures
Continuous Improvement & Compliance
10. Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies
11. Conduct benchmarking to improve tools and strategies
12. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Fund policies
Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
13. College diploma or Bachelor’s in Marketing, Communications, or Business Administration with Marketing Certificate
Experience:
14. 8+ years in marketing roles with multi-channel messaging experience
15. 2+ years as a Marketing Manager, with experience in campaign development, analytics, and reporting
16. Insurance/financial industry experience preferred; LOMA I & II preferred (to be completed within 18 months)
