Assistant Accountant Belfast | £32,000£35,000 Reactive Recruitment is partnering with a dynamic Belfast-based company to recruit a motivated Assistant Accountant to join their growing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with solid accounting experience looking to further develop their skills in a supportive and fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and annual statutory accounts. Perform analytical reviews of profit and loss accounts. Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and bank reconciliations. Prepare weekly management reports and key performance indicators (KPIs). Manage VAT, Intrastat, EC Sales List, and other statutory submissions. Process weekly payroll. Handle sales ledger activities, including invoicing and credit control. Assist in preparing financial forecasts for profit, loss, and cash flow. Support finance team members to ensure compliance with processes. Ensure timely and accurate closure of financial ledgers. Submit government statistical reports and assist with grant claims. What Were Looking For: Previous experience in a similar accounting role. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and statutory requirements. Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
