Your new role
As Medical Affairs Therapeutic Area Lead, you’ll shape strategy for emerging therapy areas, drive collaboration across functions, and help bring innovative treatments closer to patients.
Responsibilities
* Lead the UK medical strategy in alignment with global and local healthcare priorities
* Provide expert input across research, regulatory, and market access functions
* Build strong relationships with healthcare professionals and scientific leaders
* Act as final medical signatory and mentor on compliance and standards
* Support clinical research and real-world evidence generation
* Drive scientific communication through publications, events, and expert engagement
* Lead strategic projects to position Novo Nordisk at the forefront of new therapies
Department & Location

Our department advances scientific communication and builds strategic relationships to drive innovation in healthcare, with a collaborative atmosphere and emphasis on integrating patient voices and strategic partnerships at global and national levels.
Skills & Qualifications
* Advanced scientific degree (MD, MBBS, or PhD)
* Experience in medical affairs or a similar role within the pharmaceutical industry
* Certified medical signatory or willingness to become one
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* Strategic, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, international setting
