Personal Assistant – 11‑year‑old Boy (Ref: CX836)
Location: HU9 area. Hours: 4 hours each Saturday. Rate of pay: £12.71 per hour. Vacancies: 1.
Responsibilities
* Provide personal and recreational support to an active 11‑year‑old boy, assisting him with daily activities and outings.
* Plan and accompany the child on outdoor trips, park visits, cinema, bowling, football and food outings, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience.
* Support the child with leisure activities such as tablet use, gaming, YouTube, music and rapping.
* Develop a trusting relationship with the boy, showing kindness, patience and confidence in all situations.
* Adapt to any behaviour challenges, using positive strategies in support of the child’s well‑being.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Preferably a male PA who is physically fit and active.
* Access to a vehicle with mileage reimbursement provided by the employer.
* Experience working with children who have Autism, ADHD or challenging behaviour is an advantage.
* Willingness to undergo a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service check; the cost of the DBS will be covered by the employer.
