Clinical Negligence Solicitor — Position Overview:
Manage your own caseload of moderate to high-value clinical negligence claims
Act for claimants while supporting partners and senior solicitors on complex/high-value matters
Analyse and apply medical evidence to support claims in the client’s best interest
Adhere to procedural and funding guidelines while ensuring billing, WIP and profitability targets are met
Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and quality of work expectations
Work closely with clients with sensitivity and empathy
Support the firm’s wider business objectives and growth
Requirements of the Clinical Negligence Solicitor:
Qualified Solicitor with a valid, clean Practising Certificate
5+ years’ PQE in claimant clinical negligence (Grade B/C)
Strong academic background and previous litigation exposure
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to exercise initiative and solve problems effectively
Strong client care with empathy and confidentiality
Attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality work
Business awareness and commercial understanding
IT literate (Microsoft Office and case management systems — Partner for Windows preferred)
