MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER
Descon are recruiting for a senior mechanical design engineer on behalf of a long established manufacturing company with an international reputation.
We currently have a position available for a design engineer who has general engineering design experience but we would have a special interest in design engineers who have experience in machinery design/heavy engineering/capital equipment/lifting equipment.
He or she will have good General Mechanical Engineering knowledge & ideally will be able to use either solid works or inventor but will consider candidates who have experience using other packages & FEA knowledge
Attention to detail is required along with the capability to produce good detail drawings and well constructed assembly models.
There is also a requirement for producing supporting relevant design documents.
Candidates are required to work on their own or part of a team.
He or she should have good communication skills & specified deadlines should be communicated with clients & adhered to.
