Psychology Graduate – SEN Teaching Assistant

Salary: Up to £95 per day

We are looking for a Psychology graduate to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Wigan as an SEN Teaching Assistant. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people while developing key professional skills.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with additional needs, including autism, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties
* Assist with the delivery of tailored learning interventions and behaviour support plans
* Support students in developing their social, emotional, and academic skills
* Work closely with the school’s SENCO, class teachers, and external professionals
* Help create a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* A degree in Psychology (or a related subject)
* A strong interest in working with children and young people with SEN
* Excellent communication, patience, and empathy
* A proactive and resilient attitude
* Experience working with children, young people, or vulnerable groups (desirable but not essential)
