Axcis Education is recruiting a full-time Teaching Assistant to support students with SEND at a primary school for children and young people in Axminster. This Teaching Assistant role is ideal for individuals passionate about helping students access learning, develop confidence, and thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Key responsibilities:
•Support students with SEND across the school day as a Teaching Assistant
•Assist teachers in delivering personalised learning activities and behaviour strategies
•Promote social, emotional, and independent learning skills
•Maintain a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment
•Work closely with teachers and the wider school team
Requirements:
•Professional or personal experience supporting students with SEND is desirable
•Patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach
•Strong communication and teamwork skills
