About this job
This role is a great opportunity to help strengthen UNISON Cymru’s work with members and workplaces across North Wales. You will support local branches to recruit new members, encourage existing members to get involved, and help people work together to address workplace issues.
You will work closely with branches to improve communication with members, support local campaigns, and help identify and develop new activists. This includes talking to members one‑to‑one, supporting recruitment activity, and helping branches gather feedback using surveys and questionnaires.
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, flexible and organised, with experience of working with people and supporting groups. Experience of recruitment, organising and campaigning or similar work within a trade union or community organisation would be an advantage.
You will also need a good understanding of trade union values, and the role unions play in representing workers.
You will need to be able to travel within the region for meetings/training as required.
