Role Overview
We are looking for a Lead Clinician to manage our in‑house Clinical Team at Orchard Manor School based in Norfolk. The postholder will work collaboratively with both the school’s Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and the Regional Clinical Lead. The role will be split between clinically leading the team and holding a therapy caseload. Working collaboratively with the team, the postholder will deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for students with complex profiles of need, including autism, neuro‑divergence, developmental trauma and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs. Meeting the needs of EHCP plans will be a primary focus.
Key Responsibilities
* Clinically lead and support the in‑house clinical team.
* Hold a therapy caseload and deliver assessment and intervention plans.
* Coordinate line management of team members and lead on service development.
* Work collaboratively with the SLT and Regional Clinical Lead.
* Contribute to research activities and report writing.
Required Experience & Qualifications
* Degree in a relevant discipline, at least 5 years’ experience as a clinician with leadership and managerial experience.
* Valid and up‑to‑date professional registration and membership of a professional body (e.g., BPS).
* Experience working with autistic individuals and/or those with complex needs.
* Experience providing supervision and supporting a therapy team.Clear and concise report writing for clinical and research activities.
* Ability to work independently and dynamically within a growing service.
* Experience in multi‑professional work with teams or services within the specialty.
* Full UK valid driving licence and access to own vehicle.
