Maintenance Manager - Desford, Manufacturing Sector

Are you a strong leader with proven experience in maintenance planning and execution within a manufacturing environment? Join a dynamic facility in Desford undergoing major investment and focusing on a 3-year improvement plan.

This is a 12-month contract with the potential for extension or permanent placement.

Key Responsibilities & Impact

* You will be responsible for leading and developing a team of approximately 30 people (including 4 Team Leaders) to ensure equipment reliability, safety, and operational efficiency.
* Manage, coach, and develop a large team of maintenance technicians.
* Develop and implement preventive/predictive maintenance strategies.
* Drive continuous improvement projects using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
* Monitor and report on maintenance KPIs (eg, work order completion).

What We Need

* Experience: 3-5 years of proven maintenance planning/execution experience in manufacturing.
* Top Skill: Exceptional leadership and people management skills are the number one priority.
* Qualifications: Level 3 equivalent qualification in engineering (eg, City & Guilds) preferred.
* Technical: Proficiency in CMMS and Microsoft Office.
