As a Team Leader at Avocet Court Care Home, you will be responsible for leading, managing, and supporting our care team who are passionate about delivering making moments for our residents and providing high-quality care.

About the role:
As a Team Leader, you’ll play a key role in care delivery within the home. You will support us in ensuring the highest standards of care are achieved across all areas of the home.

Salary: £13.07 per hour.
Shift Pattern: 33.75 hours per week, working 12-hour shifts on a rota basis from Monday to Sunday.
Home Location: Monmouth Close, Ipswich, England, IP2 8RS.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
* Provide leadership and direction to the care team whilst on duty.
* Assist, motivate, and inspire our care team to deliver exceptional outcomes in care.
* Manage supervision, appraisal, and performance management of the care team, celebrating each individual's contributions and helping team members reach their potential.
* Carry out enhanced clinical care duties, including clinical observations such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration rate, temperature, blood oxygenation levels, and urine output monitoring.
Training, Skills & Experience Required:
* A genuine passion for care, with a commitment to prioritizing residents' needs.
* Experience in a similar senior care position.
* Hold an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
* Effective communication skills.
* A proven track record in leading, empowering, supporting, and motivating a team.
