Role Information The school is seeking a creative, technically skilled, and reliable Performing Arts Technician to support drama, music, and dance departments. Key responsibilities include: Providing technical support for theatre productions, concerts, assemblies, and events Operating and maintaining lighting and sound equipment Supporting rehearsals, technical runs, set changes, and stage management Managing equipment inventories, repairs, and PAT testing schedules Supporting classroom lessons with AV, lighting, sound, and equipment setup Collaborating with teaching staff to deliver creative projects and performances Designing lighting plots, sound cues, and production effects when required Assisting with props, costumes, set design, and backstage organisation Ensuring health & safety compliance in all performance spaces Supporting whole-school events that require staging or technical expertise This role suits someone organised, practical, creative, and passionate about the performing arts.
