Overview
Bristol/Hybrid - 3 days per week on site + Ad hoc Travel
Responsibilities
* Empower capture teams to win and deliver better business by supporting the development of accurate, timely and innovative contractual solutions with our customers and partners.
* Draft and negotiate contract terms with customers using appropriate techniques, strategies and engaging the right subject matter experts.
* Identify potential risks and liabilities in concepts, proposals and contracts and implement appropriate means to manage these.
* Instruct and administer new and existing business agreements providing trusted advice and guidance to ensure understanding of Rolls-Royce and customer obligations and contract points.
* Serve as a critical link between the business and our customers, with regular customer interaction, building an unrivalled understanding of our products, customers and the way we do business.
* Build relationships and influence across the organisation, applying an aptitude for understanding the business and shaping commercial deals to balance risk and reward across a culturally diverse range of customers.
* Directly contribute to the success of our Defence business and the protection of people around the world through our Combat and Trainer products.
Qualifications
* Sound business and commercial acumen including the ability to interpret commercial issues and understand the commercial components of deals and how to influence them.
* Effective interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing to a range of audiences.
* Collaborates well in a team environment, building relationships across the business and working collaboratively with other business areas and corporate functions.
* Analytical skills, sound business judgement, articulate and confident dealing with ambiguity, and a willingness to learn.
* Previous commercial and contracting experience would be advantageous.
