We have an exciting opportunity at Derbyshire Recovery Partnership Substance Use Service for someone who is passionate about helping people and making a difference. The role will be working within the Chesterfield area of Derbyshire, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday 9am-5pm.

The Role
The role will involve offering a range of alcohol related harm reduction interventions and structured key working to support people on your caseload to address their alcohol use. Your work will be underpinned by comprehensive assessments, identification and management of risk, and care planning. You will work in a recovery-focussed way as you support people accessing the service to attain improved health outcomes and achieve their personalised treatment goals. This will involve providing one-one support to individuals recovering from alcohol dependency and assist them in reducing their use by appropriate involvement of other specialist teams including Alcohol Non-Medical Prescribers, Community Recovery Connectors, Hospital Alcohol Liaison Workers and rehab leads You will support people on your caseload in an individual and person-centred way to achieve positive outcomes.
Comprehensive alcohol and intervention training will be facilitated within your induction.

* Starting salary of £24,637, with opportunity to access potential yearly salary increments subject to appraisal, meaning potential salary increase up to £28,000 (pro rata)
