About the Role
:
You will form part of the local team supporting the supervision activities and requirements of our Housing operations, ensuring all supervisory procedures are being undertaken efficiently in compliance with Company operating procedures, deliver best in class customer service, whilst satisfying all safety, quality and cost control standards relating to budget, profitability and resource deployment.
As a Supervisor you will Monitor and Supervise all work that is delivered and progression & completion via ongoing site visits to ensure works are adequately resourced, are being effectively delivered to set quality standards, completed on time and within budgets.
Ensure the customer experience is central to all activities by adopting a professional manner when communicating with all stakeholders, this includes but not limited to, appearance, company ID, maintaining a high standard of health & safety requirements.
You will manage employees’ performance, coach and develop individuals in their roles and support where needed, following and supporting policies, procedures, initiatives and work instructions at all times and keep all supplied company assets in a good condition, keeping a track of all company assets, including operatives vans, van stocks, material purchases, tools, plant hire, uniform and PPE.
Role Criteria
1. Supervisory experience
2. City & Guilds or equivalent in trade discipline.
3. Supervisory experience in a similar operation.
4. Managing, monitoring, recording and reporting of health & safety and compliance.
5. Experience in kitchen and bathrooms
6. Excellent communication
7. People management with the ability to lead & mentor others
8. Ability to negotiate and influence others
9. Strong customer focus
10. IT literate
11. Full UK driving license
Experience in social housing would be beneficial.

To drive a Mears vehicle, you must be aged over 21 have held your licence over 3 months and have less than 9 points.
