Job Title: Support Worker (Full UK or International Driving Licence Required) Location: Conwy (LL22) and surrounding areas, Wales As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering person-centred care and support to individuals in residential, supported living, or community settings. You will assist service users to live independently, maintain their wellbeing, and participate fully in their daily lives. Key Responsibilities Provide personal, emotional, and practical support in line with individual care plans. Promote independence, choice, and inclusion. Support individuals with daily activities such as personal care, meal preparation, medication, and community access. Build trusting, respectful relationships with service users and colleagues. Drive to and from service user locations (where applicable). Maintain accurate records and report any changes in service user needs or wellbeing. Essential Requirements Full UK or International Driving Licence (and confidence driving in the UK). Previous experience in care or support work (preferred but not essential — training provided). Right to work in the UK. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Genuine passion for providing high-quality, person-centred support. Desirable Training & Certifications Applicants with the following training are highly desirable (however, training can be provided where needed): CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) Epilepsy Awareness Dysphagia Awareness Makaton Communication (advantageous but not essential) Training will be provided for the above certification if you're without any.
