Zest Education is currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Burton upon Trent. About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside class teachers to support pupils across the primary age range. Your role will involve providing both one-to-one and small-group support, helping to create engaging learning experiences, and ensuring all children have the opportunity to succeed.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom activities
* Providing targeted support to pupils who need additional help
* Encouraging children’s participation, confidence, and independence
* Preparing resources and maintaining an organised classroom environment
* Assisting with assessments and reporting pupil progress to teaching staff

The Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for someone who is:
* Level 2 or Level 3 qualified (or equivalent) in Supporting Teaching and Learning or Childcare
* Experienced in working with primary-aged children
* Positive, proactive, and adaptable in their approach
* Confident supporting pupils of varying abilities
* Able to communicate effectively with staff, pupils, and parents
* Passionate about helping children reach their full potential
