Role Overview
The role…
* Job Title: Cook Manager
* Location: Lowes Wong Junior School, Southwell, NG23
* Working Days: Monday to Friday
* Shifts & Working hours: 7am-2.30pm (35 hours per week)
* Working Weeks: 39 weeks per year (term time plus inset days)
* Pay Details: £21,070 per annum
This role is cooking for around 250 primary school children. You will be managing a team of 4 catering assistants. There are 3 local primary schools where food is delivered from Lowes Wong Juniors (40 meals each). Two of the catering assistants complete the delivery and service. Service at Lowes Wong is for around 120 with one catering assistant to support.
Background & Qualifications
We’re open to people with great cooking and people management skills. You will be an experienced Cook/Chef Manager, used to cooking using fresh seasonal ingredients at volume, managing your kitchen and liaising directly with onsite clients. As manager you will head the team, making sure service runs smoothly and that all due diligence is adhered to.
