You will work closely with communities and referral partners to identify potential learners and support them into skills training and employability programmes designed to improve career opportunities. Key responsibilities include: Recruiting learners onto adult education and employability programmes Promoting skills training and Adult Education Budget (AEB) funded courses Engaging unemployed individuals and supporting them into education and training Conducting initial learner engagement and eligibility checks Supporting learners through the enrolment process Building relationships with job centres, community groups, and referral organisations Maintaining accurate records of learner recruitment and engagement activity Supporting learners at the beginning of their training journey For the Learner Engagement Manager role, additional responsibilities may include: Leading regional learner recruitment strategies Managing learner pipelines and engagement activity Supporting and guiding learner engagement staff Ideal Candidate We are looking for individuals with experience in learner recruitment, learner engagement, employability outreach, or community engagement within education and training. You will ideally have: Experience recruiting learners or engaging learners onto training programmes Experience within training providers, employability programmes, or adult education Knowledge of Adult Education Budget (AEB) programmes is advantageous Strong communication and community engagement skills Experience working with job centres, community organisations, or referral networks Ability to work independently while managing outreach activity For the Manager role, experience leading learner recruitment or engagement activity would be beneficial.
