Responsibilities
We are looking for an enthusiastic and efficient Quality Assurance Manager to work within the laboratory team to assist with the development of the quality management system and to oversee the implementation of quality assurance activities such as audits, equipment maintenance, SOP review and nonconformance reporting. The role may also be required to perform serology assays for clinical trials and to assist the Laboratory Manager in ensuring assay and data quality.
Person Specification
Key attributes of the successful applicant include: • Successful track record in quality assurance or quality control • Experience writing and reviewing SOPs, performing equipment maintenance, assay QC, and audits. • Excellent experience of working within a GCLP environment. • Experience of performing ELISA/MIA or OPkA assays. • Strong organisational, time-management and communication skills • Enthusiasm and personal initiative to solve problems, a self-starter with ability to work unsupervised
