Overview
To enable OT to provide Therapy Skills within the inpatient service in the Specialist field. To ensure safe, efficient and effective delivery of patient focused care in line with identified evidence based practice, local and national standards. To work collaboratively within Multidisciplinary and Multi-agency Teams. To participate in delegated projects for service development with the team. To act autonomously in the assessment and treatment of patients within the speciality who may have a complex presentation. To demonstrate a flexible approach to working in support of the whole inpatient team. To undertake weekend working as required within service developments. To be available to provide Clinical Supervision. This role entails 90% Clinical Contact and 10% Operational Management as appropriate within team requirements. To guide Band 5 and support staff in the management and delivery of therapeutic care plans. To support delivery of 7-day working.
Position Details
Senior OT position at Hinchingbrooke Hospital to cover maternity leave for 6 months from August 2025 until end February 2026. Part-time: 18.75 hours per week. Specialties include Medicine for Older People, Oncology, Renal, Gastroenterology, providing variety in daily tasks.
