Key Responsibilities for Business Development Manager
* Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
* Prepare and present proposals, quotes and contracts to clients, ensuring alignment with the company’s portfolio offerings
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
* Understand clients' sustainability goals and challenges to propose suitable solutions
* Conduct presentations, meetings, and workshops to educate clients on products
Skills & experience required for Business Development Manager
* Proven experience in sales within the energy sector
* Demonstrable evidence of pipeline management that delivers and exceeds targets
* Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
* Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
* Passion for sustainability and to helping organisations decarbonise their business processes
* Degree educated in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, or related field
