Quality Assurance Analyst Fixed Term Permanent FUNDAMENTAL PURPOSE: To assist the Quality Assurance Manager in the development, maintenance and communication of the company Quality Assurance system. The key roles the FTC will be conducting (as a minimum) are: Validation of balance checks KPI Stamp and CASAC routine oversight Purchase Orders Audit – canteen, screening, gowning, rooms EHS hazard logging 5S oversight/management Training management Quality day organization Desirable: Knowledge of laboratory testing methods and the standards pertaining to those methods Good IT skills Understanding and knowledge of industry specifications / test methods Good understanding and knowledge of International, National and Customer Quality systems standards. Qualified and experienced Internal Quality Auditor Knowledge, understanding in the use of Continuous Improvement methods and techniques (SPC, FMEA, Standard Operations, Lean, Sigma Logic, Value Stream etc) PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: To maintain, control and communicate the company Quality System documentation. Maintain KPI’s and reports for the Quality department and escalation of red flag issues to quality management. To administer and review the Non-Conformance, corrective and preventive action systems via QMS systems where necessary. To support the internal quality audit programme To monitor and maintain the quality record storage systems. To oversee the calibration and equipment verification system – maintaining records and the completion of these records. Raising problems to the quality engineers or quality manager To support risk management of non conformances raised through calibration. To assist the Quality Manager in the administration of customer and third party quality audits, and the maintenance of Quality system and product approvals, including visit screening Coordinate the maintenance of record control and compliance to the required templates and systems across the site.
