Job Summary
The Head of Sales at Kerzner International is a critical leadership role focused on supporting, mentoring, and driving the success of resort-based sales and marketing teams. This individual will play a pivotal role in achieving annual budgets and KPIs by providing strategic guidance, identifying and resolving revenue shortfalls, and inspiring commercial teams across all properties. Acting as a coach, troubleshooter, and change agent, ensuring the alignment of global strategies with property-level execution to drive sustainable revenue growth and operational excellence, serving as the vital link between the global commercial team and property-based sales functions.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement a global sales strategy aligned with Kerzner’s vision, with a focus on driving growth across all markets and segments.
Lead strategic commercial initiatives, ensuring alignment with marketing, communications, revenue management, and digital functions.
Partner with resort-based teams to ensure local execution aligns with corporate goals.
Establish clear KPIs and performance benchmarks for property teams.
Act as a mentor to resort-based sales and marketing teams, supporting them in achieving their budgets and KPIs.
Onboard, coach, and continuously develop property-based commercial team members to enhance their capabilities and performance.
Provide strategic guidance to resort leaders, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
Conduct regular training sessions and workshops to upskill teams and share best practices.
Serve as a troubleshooter to identify and resolve challenges contributing to revenue shortfalls.
Analyze sales and performance data to uncover issues and implement corrective actions promptly.
Collaborate with resorts to design tailored recovery plans when revenue targets are at risk.
Act as the primary escalation point for complex sales and marketing challenges at the property level.
Be an agent of change to inspire, lead, and motivate resort teams to embrace innovation and adopt new sales strategies.
Drive adoption of technology, tools, and processes that enhance commercial performance.
Foster an environment of continuous improvement and encourage teams to take ownership of results.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clients, luxury travel advisors, and consortiums globally.
Represent Kerzner International at industry events, trade shows, and sales missions to strengthen brand presence.
Work closely with resort-based teams to enhance client relationships and optimize partnership outcomes.
Leverage advanced analytics to provide actionable insights for revenue growth and market optimization.
Integrate data-driven strategies into resort revenue management and marketing initiatives.
Monitor market conditions, competitor performance, and emerging trends to inform strategic decisions.

Skills, Experience & Educational Requirements
Minimum of 10 years of senior commercial leadership experience in luxury hospitality.
Proven track record of mentoring and coaching high-performing teams.
Experience in managing geographically dispersed teams across multiple properties.
Exceptional leadership and team-building skills with a passion for mentorship and development.
Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in sales and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
Deep knowledge of global luxury hospitality markets and trends.
Achievement of annual budgets and KPIs across resort sales and marketing teams.
Measurable improvement in team performance through coaching and mentorship.
Identification and resolution of revenue shortfalls with effective recovery plans.
