Key Responsibilities for the Quality Engineer:
* Lead root cause analysis using methodologies like 5Why and 8D to deliver sustainable solutions.
* Collaborate with design, production, and purchasing teams to ensure product quality aligns with customer expectations.
* Create and improve SOPs, ensuring documentation and traceability throughout the production process.
* Champion continuous improvement initiatives, identifying waste and enhancing process efficiency.
* Manage KPIs and deliver clear reporting on non-conformances and quality standards.
* Develop and manage supplier quality assurance processes, conducting audits and driving supplier improvement initiatives.
What They’re Looking For in a Quality Engineer:
* Proven experience in manufacturing or industrial environments – oil and gas or similar sectors preferred.
* Strong expertise in quality tools such as FMEA, PPAP and Lean principles.
* Confident in writing and implementing SOPs and QMS (ISO 9001:2015).
* Excellent communication skills to work effectively across teams and with suppliers.
* Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
* Auditing experience.
* Self-motivated, proactive, and ready to tackle challenges head-on.
