Finance Business Partner
Based in Derby (with hybrid working - 2 days from home)
£50,000 - £55,000
Fully Qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
We're working with a growing, forward-thinking business that's looking to add a commercially minded Finance Business Partner to their expanding team.
This is a newly created role due to growth - a brilliant opportunity for someone recently qualified and ready to step into a true business partnering position.
What you'll be doing:
* Taking full ownership of the end-to-end management accounts process across a group of 9-10 businesses
* Acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders across the group - building strong relationships and positively influencing decision-making
* Analysing financial performance and trends, identifying risks and opportunities
* Providing commercial insight to support strategic decision-making, budgeting and forecasting
* Some UK travel required - typically 2 to 3 times a month - to maintain strong business relationships
What we're looking for:
* Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) - ideally recently qualified
* Strong understanding of the full management accounts process
* A confident communicator - someone who enjoys building relationships and working closely with stakeholders
* Experience in a client-facing role or coming from a private practice background would be ideal
* A proactive, inquisitive approach - comfortable digging into the detail and challenging the numbers
* Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
