As a Full Stack Software Engineer II - Java/React/SQL at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate Technology Legal Document Management Team, you are part of an agile team that works to enhance, design, and deliver the software components of the firm's state-of-the-art technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. As an emerging member of a software engineering team, you execute software solutions through the design, development, and technical troubleshooting of multiple components within a technical product, application, or system, while gaining the skills and experience needed to grow within your role.
Job Responsibilities
* Execute standard software solutions, design, develop, and troubleshoot technical issues.
* Write secure and high-quality code using at least one programming language with limited guidance.
* Design, develop, code, and troubleshoot considering upstream and downstream systems and technical implications.
* Utilize tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain to enhance automation and efficiency.
* Apply technical troubleshooting to resolve basic complexity problems.
* Analyze large, diverse data sets to identify issues and support decision-making for secure, stable application development.
* Learn and apply system processes, methodologies, and skills for developing secure, stable code and systems.
* Contribute to a team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
* Formal training or certification in Java concepts with practical experience.
* Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability (e.g., cloud, AI).
* Advanced knowledge as a Full Stack Developer using Java, Spring Boot, Angular/React UI, and SQL.
* Ability to collaborate in large teams and foster an inclusive, innovative culture.
* Experience across the Software Development Life Cycle within an Agile environment.
* Understanding of business analysis, development, maintenance, and software improvement.
* Proficiency in developmental toolsets.
* Basic awareness of industry-wide technology trends and best practices.

* Familiarity with modern front-end technologies.
* Exposure to cloud technologies.
