Duties
* Conduct thorough patient examinations, including visual assessments and medical imaging where necessary
* Develop personalised treatment plans in collaboration with patients, explaining procedures clearly
* Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals, and periodontal treatments
* Use CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technology for designing dental restorations when applicable
* Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulatory standards
* Assist in the training of junior staff or interns as required
* Ensure strict adherence to health and safety protocols, including sterilisation procedures
* Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to promote long-term oral health
Qualifications
* Fully qualified Dental Therapist or Dentist recognised by the appropriate regulatory body
* Proven experience in general dentistry, with a strong understanding of anatomy and dental procedures
* Proficiency in CAD software utilised within dental practices
* Experience with medical imaging techniques relevant to dentistry
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
* Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
