Our client, a global leader in advanced technology solutions, is seeking a dynamic Supply Chain Improvement Leader to join their team at a state-of-the-art facility in Bristol.
This high-visibility role focuses on driving supply chain excellence through lean methodologies and process optimisation, ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, and uncompromising quality. You’ll work closely with the Head of Supply Chain and collaborate with cross-functional teams to lead transformative projects. Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with the Head of Supply Chain to define and implement best-practice processes aligned with the target operating model
* Develop and implement a standardised playbook and toolset for supply chain management
* Drive ERP compliance and establish a data governance framework to ensure accurate data inputs and outputs
* Create standardised reporting for order book management, shortage management, cost reduction, and supplier performance scorecards
* Evolve and automate supply chain KPIs, executing phased improvements to enhance performance tracking
* Implement improvement governance, including visual management, to foster cross-functional engagement and idea generation
* Identify skills gaps within the purchasing function and develop targeted training programs
* Lead cross-functional teams to deliver strategic supply chain projects with measurable impact
* Engage and coach teams to drive a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration
The Person/Qualifications
* Strong knowledge of end-to-end complex manufacturing supply chains
* Proficiency in Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies
* Expertise in ERP/MRP systems with robust data capture and analysis skills
* Effective project management skills to lead initiatives from concept to completion
* Excellent communication and leadership skills to inspire and guide cross-functional teams
* Experience in change management and driving organisational improvements
* Ability to engage and train teams to achieve desired outcomes
* MCIPS or equivalent qualification (desirable)
* Project management qualifications (advantageous)
