Overview
We are looking for a small animal vet to join Park Issa Veterinary Hospital in Oswestry, Shropshire near the Welsh border. This part-time role is 18 hours per week, 8:30-6:30pm across two days per week, with flexibility on working days. One of the days may require in-patient overnight cover if there are in-patients, involving being available by phone for emergencies while an experienced nurse stays onsite. Weekends are 1 in 8, with hours 8:30am-4:00pm; bank holidays are closed unless in-patients are already with us.
Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality medical and surgical care for small animals.
* Collaborate with the clinical director and the team; support a potential senior vet role in the future.
* Participate in regular case discussions and provide clinical advice as needed.
* Support in-patients alongside a nurse on site.
Qualifications
* Qualified veterinary surgeon with some experience; interest in taking on a senior role in the future is a plus.
* Commitment to animal care and delivering a high-quality service.
