**UP TO £16.64 PER HOUR - EARLY FINISH EVERY FRIDAY**
Our client, a leading defence and engineering manufacturer based in Pershore, is looking to recruit an experienced Quality Inspector to join their growing team.
Training and support will be provided, with long-term career development opportunities available for the right candidate.
Shift Pattern:
* Monday - Thursday: 07:45 - 17:15
* Friday: 07:45 - 13:00
Pay Rate:
* £13.40 - £16.64 per hour (Depending on Experience)
* Overtime available at enhanced rates up to £33.28 per hour (After 40 hours worked)
Duties Include:
* Carrying out first-off, in-process and final inspections
* Using precision measuring equipment including verniers, height gauges and multi-axis measurement arms
* Inspecting components against engineering drawings and customer specifications
* Completing and supporting First Article Inspection (FAI) reports
* Raising and managing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)
* Maintaining accurate inspection and calibration records
* Investigating quality issues and customer concerns
* Supporting continuous improvement activities throughout the business
* Assisting with production flow and identifying manufacturing bottlenecks
* Supporting and advising shop-floor personnel on quality requirements and standards
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a Quality Inspector or Quality Technician role
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Experience using inspection and measuring equipment
* Knowledge of quality management systems such as ISO 9001, ISO 3834 or AS9100
* Good understanding of Health & Safety practices
* Strong attention to detail
* Good communication skills and the ability to work with colleagues, customers and management
