Job Purpose: The role focuses on risk management activities to identify and reduce risks associated with technology used within the UK firm. Reporting to the Risk Management Manager, you will be part of a supportive team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Organize and manage activities, prioritizing requests based on criticality and risk.
* Liaise with stakeholders to gather information on relevant technologies.
* Assist in conducting risk assessments to identify risks and non-compliance issues.
* Evaluate the impact of risks on the organization, including financial and reputational aspects.
* Support remediation efforts and track risks until resolution.
* Serve as the point of contact for business teams on information security questions.
* Prepare reports for leadership and stakeholders on a regular basis.
* Own assigned tasks, monitor KPIs, and ensure deadlines are met.
* Support strategic projects, process improvements, and knowledge sharing initiatives.
Skills and Experience:
* Interest in building a career in information/cyber security.
* Formal qualification in Information Security.
* Experience in a relevant security or IT role is desirable but not essential.
* Attention to detail and ability to verify information accuracy.
* Curiosity and ability to ask relevant questions.
* Ability to manage workload and escalate issues when necessary.
* Customer service orientation and problem-solving skills.
* Effective communication skills.
* Basic to intermediate skills in data manipulation and visualization (e.g., PowerBI, Alteryx, Excel).
* Experience with Microsoft M365 is a plus.
