Base Pay Range
Meraki Talent are exclusively engaged to support the appointment of a permanent Commercial Finance Manager based in Edinburgh paying £70,000 - £80,000 plus excellent bonus potential, pension & benefits.

The Commercial Finance Manager will report to a fantastic Director of Finance with a dotted line to the Chief Financial Officer. The Director of Finance has an amazing track record of developing the careers of aspiring finance professionals to ensure they reach the top and their full potential.
The Role
The Commercial Finance Manager will play a pivotal role in strategic planning, direction and decision making. It will business partner with individuals throughout operations and the senior leadership team to provide & present value-add monthly reporting packs.
The key components of the role will include:
* Managing qualified and part-qualified FP&A Analysts
* Business partnering with senior and non-financial stakeholders
* Production and presentation of monthly reporting packs to influence strategic planning, direction and decision making
* Reviewing and enhancing MI, data & insights through the use of systems, automation & BI tools
* Overseeing robust month-end close
* Periodic and adhoc financial analysis – KPI’s, variance analysis, stock, costs, revenue, pricing etc.
* Investment appraisal – CAPEX and OPEX

Candidate Profile
We are keen to engage with individuals that meet the below criteria:
* Qualified with at least 3 years post qualification experience
* 2 years + of operating in pure commercial finance or FP&A role
* Physical and tangible products background – FMCG, food & drink, manufacturing etc.
