An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Yacht Technician to join a busy sailing and watersports operation based in Hamble, one of the UK’s most active yachting hubs. This role is ideal for someone practical, hands-on, and passionate about boats, who enjoys working both independently and as part of a small team. You’ll play a key role in maintaining and preparing a fleet of modern sailing yachts, ensuring they are safe, fully operational, and presented to a high standard for customers. Key Responsibilities Carrying out routine maintenance and servicing across a fleet of sailing yachts Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and onboard systems Preparing yachts for charter, training courses, and customer handovers Conducting inspections and fault finding across engines, rigging, plumbing, and electrical systems Supporting lift-outs, antifouling, and seasonal maintenance Ensuring yachts are clean, well-presented, and ready for use Maintaining maintenance logs and reporting any issues or required works Assisting with general yard and marina duties when required Skills & Experience Previous experience working with yachts or marine vessels Strong practical skills across mechanical, electrical, or marine systems Knowledge of diesel engines, onboard electrics, and marine plumbing is highly desirable Ability to diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently Comfortable working outdoors an...
