The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Chief Operating Officer to partner with our CEO and own how the company runs as we scale.

SalesApe is at an inflection point. We’ve found product‑market fit, raised from top‑tier investors, and are growing rapidly across North America and Europe. We’re now expanding into the US with a local sales presence, and the operational complexity is increasing accordingly.

We need someone who has done this before—scaled a company through a similar growth phase, built the operational infrastructure to support it, and made the hard calls along the way. You’ll inherit a small but capable team across finance, talent, and ops, and be responsible for professionalising how we operate while empowering what makes us fast.

This is a true leadership role. You’ll work directly with the CEO and board, represent the company to investors and stakeholders, and have full ownership of the operational domains that underpin our growth: finance, talent, legal, IT, and RevOps.


What You’ll Own

* Operational scalability - ensuring the company’s infrastructure keeps pace with growth, particularly as we expand into the US
* Finance and capital - partnering with our Finance Lead (on a path to CFO) to drive SaaS‑oriented financial discipline and investor‑ready reporting
* Talent and culture - building the team and systems to attract, retain, and develop great people
* Board and investor relationships - serving as a key voice to stakeholders alongside the CEO
* Cross‑functional alignment - bridging product, sales, marketing, and operations to ensure the company moves as one


Who You Are

You’ve operated at a senior level—COO, VP Ops, or equivalent—at a high‑growth company and have the scars to prove it. You’ve scaled through at least one major growth inflection (Series A to B, or B to C) and understand what breaks along the way.

You’re fluent in SaaS economics. LTV/CAC, cohort analysis, NDR—these are the lenses through which you see a business, and you can coach others on how to use them.

You’re a builder, not a maintainer. You’re energised by ambiguity and creating structure where none exists, not by optimising steady‑state processes.

You communicate with precision. Whether it’s the board, investors, or the team, you distil complexity into clarity.

You’ve ideally supported a US expansion before, or at minimum have operated across multiple geographies.
