Job Title: Assistant Site Manager (Freelance) Location: Surrey / Woking Woking Project: 75-Unit New Build Housing Development Day Rate: £200 - £250 per day (C)CIS Start Date: Immediate / ASAP About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager on a freelance basis to support the delivery of a 75-unit new build housing development in Surrey (W Wokingarea). You'll assist the Site Manager and the wider team to ensure the project is delivered safely, on time, and to a high-quality standard. Key Responsibilities: Support the Site Manager with daily site operations. Supervise and coordinate subcontractors to ensure timely, quality work. Enforce site health and safety protocols and carry out inductions. Conduct quality inspections, snagging, and maintain site standards. Manage deliveries and materials. Keep detailed site records and assist with progress reporting. Help drive the programme and resolve any on-site issues. Requirements: Proven experience in an Assistant Site Manager role on residential new build projects. S SMSTSor S SSSTScertification (essential). First Aid at Work (essential). C CSCSCard (essential). Good working knowledge of UK building regulations and N NHBCstandards. Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
