Overview of Product Manager Role: A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Product Manager to join the UK division of a global engineering and manufacturing group. This role is based at their Engineering & Manufacturing HQ near Luton and focuses on managing a portfolio of engineered mechanical components used in critical infrastructure applications.
Key Responsibilities of Product Manager:
1. Lead New Product Development (NPD) for engineered components
2. Manage product lifecycle and performance across global markets
3. Drive SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning) and demand forecasting
4. Define and implement pricing strategies and business models
5. Maintain product certifications and approvals
Requirements for Product Manager position:
6. Degree in Engineering, Technical, or Business discipline
7. Proven experience in product management of manufactured goods
8. Strong project management, analytical, and communication skills
9. Advanced Excel and solid IT proficiency
10. Background in industrial manufacturing, mechanical engineering, or infrastructure sectors preferred
