Job Description We are currently seeking a Accounts Assistant to join our Finance team at our site in Market Drayton. As Accounts Assistant you will be working within the finance team, processing invoices for Group & 3rd party suppliers. This is a full time, permanent position working Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm offering a competitive salary and package with the opportunity to work for a forward thinking market leader. The purpose of an Accounts Assistant is to work within the finance team, be responsible for the preparation of weekly invoicing to tight deadlines. Key Duties of an Accounts Assistant: Raising invoices on SAP and communicating them to our customers. Use of bespoke systems and SAP for analysis/ investigative work as required. Dealing with any subsequent customer queries and raising credit notes on SAP. Credit control duties including cash allocation. Maintenance of customer rates paperwork. Reporting/validation of weekly activity and charges raised. Ad hoc duties as required. Qualifications Excellent accuracy and attention to detail. Computer literate with a high level of Excel skills. V look ups and pivot tables ideally. Experience using Accounting software packages. Knowledge of SAP an advantage. Finance qualifications advantageous. Effectively prioritise work load in order to meet set deadlines. Confident when dealing with people on the telephone/ in person and at all levels. Adaptable and methodical approach to work/ training/ working hours. Conscientious and reliable. Excellent communication skills, in order to deliver accurate information. Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure. Ability to work as part of a team or individually. Professional, approachable and helpful Proactive and able to make decisions.
