Location: Site based with travel across Scotland & Northern Island region.
Salary: £52,500 + Car Allowance
Working hours: Monday to Friday 09:00 – 17:00
Role
Project Supervisor – Scotland. Due to an exciting contract win, EMCOR UK are recruiting Project Supervisors responsible for overseeing and managing Facilities Related and Capital Projects from inception to completion, coordinating, communicating, and reporting to various stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to required quality standards with a high level of Health and Safety.
What You'll Do
* Preparation of programmes, method statements and risk assessments.
* Procure labour, materials and sub-contractors in accordance with EMCOR UK procedures, minimising waste and costs.
* Liaise with EMCOR UK Management to keep them informed of contract progress and issues that may affect contract operations.
* Based on current and projected project activity, develop an in-house, cost-effective multi-skilled team of Technicians.
* Manage and provide close supervision of EMCOR UK staff and sub-contractors.
* Maintain knowledge of Health and Safety and statutory requirements including CDM Regulations; ensure compliance at all times.
* Maintain accurate project administration files and costs (financial records).
Qualifications
* Educated to HNC / HND Standard (or equivalent).
* Extensive experience in a similar role.
* Knowledge of key operational management disciplines (quality control, work planning methods).
* Capable of managing a portfolio in excess of £500k per annum.
* IT literacy (word processing, spreadsheets and project management tools).
* Valid full driving licence; desirable clean.
* Good knowledge and understanding of commercial and contractual issues.
