We are currently seeking a Procurement Manager to join our Topside Division.
Location
Office based position/hybrid based at one of the following OEG hubs in:
* Portsmouth/Hunmanby/Chester/Lowestoft.
Core Purpose
* To develop and lead the strategic procurement function across the OEG Topside Division.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
* Define and implement the overall procurement strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and project requirements to drive procurement transformation.
* Establish procurement policies, procedures, and frameworks to ensure compliance, consistency, and operational efficiency.
* Build and maintain a resilient supply chain that supports the company’s growth and sustainability objectives.
* Oversee the negotiation and execution of complex contracts and strategic supplier agreements.
* Ensure robust risk management, effective cost control, and thorough performance monitoring across all procurement activities.
* Develop strategic partnerships with global suppliers and contractors within the offshore renewables industry.
Skills and Experience
Essential:
* Proven leadership capabilities, commercial acumen, and deep industry knowledge to drive procurement excellence and deliver value creation.
* Minimum of 5 years’ procurement experience within the energy or infrastructure sectors.
* Demonstrated success in managing procurement programmes and overseeing extensive supplier networks.
* Strong knowledge of contract law, commercial strategy, and risk management principles.
Desirable:
* Experience in offshore wind farm development, marine logistics, or international procurement.
* Proven experience in managing procurement activities within the APAC region.
Qualifications
Desirable:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
* CIPS or an equivalent professional procurement certification.
