The Role
As a Logistics Assistant, you will support the day-to-day operations of a busy site by coordinating deliveries, managing materials, and maintaining precise inventory records. Your responsibilities will include checking and recording incoming supplies, organising storage areas, and assisting with loading and unloading. You'll work closely with suppliers, drivers, and internal teams to ensure seamless logistics operations, ensuring materials are delivered safely and on time. Additionally, you'll support the site logistics plan, optimise traffic flow, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
You will have the following qualifications & experience:
Proven experience in logistics, warehouse, or site support roles
Extensive organisational and time-management skills
Good communication and proactive problem-solving abilities
Basic IT skills, including inventory systems, email, and spreadsheets
Ability to carry out manual handling tasks
Understanding of health and safety standards
