About the Role
With our growing portfolio of large-scale technical housing projects, we have an exciting and challenging opportunity for a competent Revit Technician to join our team in our Central office on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities
* Creating and managing building information models (BIM) using Autodesk Revit software.
* Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that the BIM accurately reflects the design intent and meets all relevant industry standards and codes.
* Creating construction documentation such as floor plans, elevations, sections, and details.
* Coordinating with contractors to ensure that the construction process runs smoothly.
* Creating and modifying Revit families (i.e., pre-built elements such as doors, windows, and fixtures) as needed.
* Creating and maintaining project templates and standards to ensure consistency across all projects.
* Troubleshooting technical issues related to Revit software or BIM models.
* Staying up-to-date with the latest developments and best practices in Revit and BIM modelling.
* Communicating effectively with project team members and stakeholders.
* Providing training and support to other team members on Revit software and BIM modelling techniques.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in Autodesk Revit software
* Knowledge of building codes and standards
